The primary thing that God expects from us is to love Him supremely and second, to
love your neighbor as yourself. If a man wishes to emulate, he must love his neighbor.
Love is not known without showing it because there must be a demonstration, an act,
something done for love to be seen and understood. Love is not known until it is shown
to the recipient. Love is an active experience, not inactive or dormant. This was the
point that Jesus was making. The story of the Good Samaritan (Luke 10:30-37) gives a
clear picture of God’s desire for us to help those in desperate need wherever we find
them. After describing how the Samaritan rescued a hurting man whom others had
passed by, Jesus told His hearers, “Go and do likewise.” Since its inception in 2014,
Greenfield International Foundation (GIF) has done our utmost to follow Christ’s
command by going to the aid of Africa’s impoverished, poor, sick, and suffering. GIF is
an effective means of reaching hurting people in countries around Africa, and beyond
with healthcare, food, medicine, and other types of assistance in the Name of Jesus
Christ. This, in turn, gives us the opportunity to preach the Gospel, the Good News of
eternal life through Jesus Christ.

GIF and its team of medical practitioners, and ministry staff work in crisis areas of
Africa, where people often ask, “Why did you come?” The answer is always the same:
“We have come to help you in the Name of the Lord Jesus Christ.” Our ministry is all
about Jesus—first, last, always, and ever will be, as a legacy for the glory of the Lord
Jesus Christ. As the Apostle Paul said, “For we do not preach ourselves, but Christ
Jesus the Lord, and ourselves your bondservants for Jesus’ sake” (2 Corinthians 4:5,NKJV).
